Aaron Dykes / JonesReport | May 31, 2007 The We Are Change crew confronted Presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani for a second time yesterday, after a question regarding Giuliani's prior knowledge of WTC collapse gained national attention two days ago. The question on WTC collapse was based on statements Giuliani made to Peter Jennings where he admitted he was given prior warning to the collapse . Giuliani's campaign stop was met by approximately 50 members of 9/11 victims' families who booed and protested the self-proclaimed '9/11 hero' who actually neglected proper handling of remains-- including reported use of remains to fill potholes on roadways. The outspoken criticism was met only with a heavy police presence and a barricade street. Apparently Rudy Giuliani considers it important to sign mindless autographs and simply smile his way through a crowd, but does not care to respond to the concerns of those most effected by the 9/11 attacks, despite the fact that he referred to himself as a "9/11 survivor" during the most recent Republican debate.
Members of We Are Change specifically asked him to address why he did not warn firefighters, police and other first responders that buildings would collapse in the WTC complex-- which might have saved hundreds of further lives-- despite the fact that he was told the buildings would collapse.
Giuliani did not speak with any family members on this stop, but his security forces pushed critics away from further coverage of the event, including members of We Are Change, as the video shows.
The group intends to continue pursuing Giuliani to expose his prior knowledge of collapse and obtain a satisfactory answer as the campaign continues.
