How We Killed the Declaration of Independence
I have to admit (and you probably could as well) the last time “reading” this collection of 200+ year-old words was as a young kid in grade school. With no real understanding or comprehension of this document, I probably just groaned realizing a test was soon to come. After the line, “We Hold These Truths…” it became a disconnected collection of mere words. And to be fair, this was and is the norm echoed in classrooms all across America.
After educating myself years ago as to the 9/11 Neo-Con propaganda machine, and spurred by a recent comment in one of Alex Jones’ radio talk shows mentioning The Declaration Of Independence, I thought – how embarrassing not to know this cornerstone for a free America.
So really reading it this time, I was floored by an unyielding and disturbing revelation…the reasons listed as to why the Colonists declared their independence from England and tyranny are still infecting us today. Point by point, all 27 of them, they fit to a tee. Granted, a reasonable adjustment can be made to bridge the two centuries, but the rationale and reason is intact. Here is a quick blow-by-blow account of these truths we used to hold self-evident:
1. He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
Basic definition: Our ruling power, the Federal Government, refuses to pass laws necessary for our good. Example: Examine legislation related to; Health Care, The Iraqi War, Education, Recession and Inflation, Oil Prices, Gun Laws, and a slew of other topics. Most laws are completely designed for the opposite of our good, stifling law-abiding citizens to favor the criminals or those who can afford the law. Most national and global legislation is solely geared to benefit the Neo-Con agenda to rule and enslave us, the passive and ignorant populace.
2. He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.
Meaning then and now: The governing powers-that-be refuse to allow subordinate legislators to act without a “call from headquarters” regarding matters of urgent and necessary action. Example: Anyone remember Katrina? There are numerous examples of attempted aid (food, water, medical, etc) for the ravaged masses that was turned away, even at gunpoint, by our Federal Government.
3. He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
Basic definition: Today’s version would be; those who have contrary opinions and opposition to the Federal Government will be discriminated against and/or attacked. Examples: Outspoken actors, scientists, activists and average citizens regarding 9/11 being vilified as non-patriots. Even demonstrators are now deemed a threat, as “free speech zones” are the norm. 4. He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their Public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.
Basic definition: Simply put, legal shock and awe tactics. The judicial processes are usually overwhelmingly impossible to navigate (except having unlimited financial resources) as to fatigue anyone attempting to speak out or defend their rights; this applies to even members of Congress. Examples: Exceptionally poignant was the insanely quick push and approval for the largely unread Patriot Act. For members of Congress, non-approval of this Act meant you are at the very least un-American.
5. He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.
Basic definition: The ruling elite can sidestep the Senate and Congressional process. Say goodbye to rights, privileges, privacy, and freedom…they are being dissolved. Examples: Section 215 of The Patriot Act empowers federal agents to get orders from a “secret court” that expands their already illegal domestic spying tactics. Your financial records, library rentals, travel plans and schedules, video rental, phone, medical, church, and anything else deemed of interest can and will be used against you…all under the banner of security.
6. He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected, whereby the Legislative Powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.
Basic definition: The appointment and secured positions of the Federal judicial ruling-class. Examples: Federal and State appointed judges and leaders are a great example of yes men and women who play ball to secure their false and temporary power.
7. He has endeavored to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.
Basic definition: A convolution of legal issues regarding immigration to the United States. Examples: US policy regarding illegal immigration and the false pretense of securing our borders. The North American Union and superhighway subverting our sovereign right as to being a free republic.
8. He has obstructed the Administration of Justice by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary Powers.
Basic definition: Policies, procedures, and laws do not pass without the consent of the Federal Government. Examples: Widening of the police state regime in the US, a new “war-czar” proposed for the Iraqi war, potential “terrorists” as an excuse to expand domestic spying.
9. He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.
Basic definition: Judges must play ball. Examples: See the debacle that surrounds Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.
10. He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.
Basic definition: A deliberate act to create more bureaucracy, in effect the consolidation of Federal power over the people. Examples: Department Of Homeland Security, NAFTA, FEMA, CDC, increased local law enforcement. Exceeding allowances for the sidestepping of our Bill Of Rights and the Constitution.
11. He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.
Basic definition: Tyrannical paramilitary law enforcement within our communities, a simple yet effective show of force against the US populace. Examples: It can be easily argued the now approaching 1,000,000 police officers in the US (from the 200,000 a few years back) are in effect the Federal Government’s standing army.
12. He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power.
Basic definition: The US military, local and federal police, NATO, etc. is above all laws that we are all forced to follow. Examples: Unpunished military injustices and cover-ups, slap-on-the-wrist police prosecutions, and numerous fascist techniques implemented nationwide (and worldwide.)
13. He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:
Basic definition: Federal Government imposing laws contrary to the US Constitution. Examples: The systematic and deliberate abolishment (albeit slow, steady, and sometimes subtle) of the Bill Of Rights and the Constitution. The so-called Patriot Act is a supreme example.
14. For quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:
Basic definition: Having Fascist governed armed forces living and ruling amongst us. Examples: The 200,000 local law enforcement personnel jumping to 1,000,000 and soon to be federalized and/or UN sanctioned local police agencies.
15. For protecting them, by a mock Trial from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:
Basic definition: Our protectors can and do literally commit murder without repercussion. Examples: Unpunished police brutality and mock trial tactics to appease the media and community heads.
16. For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:
Basic definition: We cannot profit without adhering to the current Fiat based monetary system. Examples: We cannot create profit without adhering to the current Fiat based monetary system. The constant devaluation of the US dollar and push toward a cashless society are further enslavement tactics of the ruling elite.
17. For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:
Basic definition: We are taxed without our approval. Examples: Numerous outspoken individuals and organizations regarding the illegal IRS and Federal Income Tax.
18. For depriving us in many cases, of the benefit of Trial by Jury:
Basic definition: Charged and convicted without a real trial. The abolishment of the 7th Amendment. Examples: Under the new definitions of terrorism, the Federal Government can detain anyone without cause, reason, explanation or representation, indefinitely.
19. For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences:
Basic definition: Ship US citizens abroad for mock trials. Examples: The Patriot Act can send anyone off to a dark hole in a foreign land to stand “trial” whenever the Federal Government sees fit, and without cause or representation…all under the banner of Freedom, Security, and Democracy.
20. For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighboring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies
Basic definition: The ruling elite remove laws in lands conquered, including the US, so their new laws and puppet governments can be implemented. Examples: The steady erosion of our rights and liberties (Gun Rights, Freedom Of Speech, Borders weakened) and to turn us into a shell of a free democratic republic.
21. For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:
Basic definition: Abolishment and distortion of our laws to suit the needs of the Feds at will. Examples: The gold-fringed US flag that adorns every courtroom, government agency, military uniform, and in even churches, is a flag for maritime/martial law – thus doing away with the Constitution.
22. For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.
Basic definition: Local and State laws reversed to benefit an agenda pushed by the Federal Government. Examples: 2nd Amendment Gun Rights eroded by a unilateral push to disarm the US population.
23. He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.
Basic definition: If you’re not with us, you’re against us. You will not be “protected” if you choose to ask questions and go against any official Government policy. Examples: Current 9/11 outspoken citizens, celebrities and scientists alike, are being “encouraged” to keep silent and do not question the official version. Strong-arm thug tactics are being shoved down our collective throats. Individualism is punished, conformity rewarded.
24. He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.
Basic definition: The ruling elite can rape and pillage the land and its resources at will; even it means utter destruction of its citizens to that nation. Examples: Lawless easements and Eminent Domain legislation steal homes and properties. Overwhelming atrocities committed against our environment under the guise as saving the environment. Bogus conservation laws designed to steal our resources so the Globalist Neo-Con agenda can push forward.
25. He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to complete the works of death, desolation, and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & Perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.
Basic definition: Foreign armies and mercenaries to do the bidding of our rulers against us and others. Examples: Illegally armed foreign troops on US soil under the pretext of “helping” us (Katrina, Illegal Immigration and Border Control)
26. He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.
Basic definition: US citizens urged via the Federal Government to take action against US citizens. Examples: The ongoing onslaught of the police state and the Orwellian surveillance community we all live in. Current legislation encouraging and empowering US citizens to report fellow Americans.
27. He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.
Basic definition: Government sponsored terror on its own citizens as to instill fear, submission, and an unquestioning population. At the very least, shamelessly using tragedies to further their agendas. Examples: 9/11, 7/7, Madrid, Columbine, Oklahoma City, Virginia Tech, the list goes on.
All examples mentioned above only begin to scratch the surface of the new world order we now live in. It should be noted; this regime exists without party allegiance – it is not confined to Democrat or Republican, Liberal or Conservative. The true power lies within the ruling Globalist elite. I urge all to conduct their own research as to really understand the depth of this conspiracy.
Thomas Jefferson’s intent for penning The Declaration Of Independence was to explain that it is the people who need to change their government when it becomes oppressive. Remember, the people are the sovereign…not the government.
We have no other continent in which to flee, there is no other land but the US to house us all. The true Patriots of this 21st century need to recognize that tyrannical rule and fascism is alive and well, and we’re welcoming this regime with open arms through our complacency. Let’s dust off this sacred document and educate friends, family, and neighbors to this propaganda. The Constitution and Bill Of Rights are being systematically dismantled; so we must hold the above truths to be self-evident.
