Ron Paul Video is Digg's #1 Story This Month
Also Tops YouTube Charts for News and All

Aaron Dykes / JonesReport.com | October 12, 2007

A powerful video hailing Ron Paul as the America's 'New Hope' has topped Digg's user-driven news for the entire month, potentially exposing the video's message to millions.

The video, which portrays Paul's message of liberty in a sweeping look at his effect across the country, gained more than 12,000 diggs in only one day and earned more than 200,000 views on YouTube, the Internet's most popular site for videos of all types.

Earning top ratings on popular sites like Digg and YouTube, in turn, gives the Ron Paul video greater exposure to viewers and Internet users who would not have otherwise sought out the message of liberty.

This is great news for the accelerating spread of Ron Paul's message, and the particular video's content is likely to inspire Ron Paul's growing base and will appeal to on-the-fence and unexposed voters as well.

Ron Paul has already been hailed as the clear frontrunner amongst presidential candidates on the Internet, but some skeptics have suggested that the appearance of support may be an "astroturf" variety of faux-grassroots support.

However, videos like this one, made by hand from unaffiliated supporters like eLIB3RTY, dispel such a notion and may well shake the ground establishment candidates have been standing on.
